Prospective trend publications constitute an important part of sources in the field of fashion design. They are either in printed or electronic format, and reveal fashion colors, patterns and styles lying 18 months ahead of the current trends.
Nelly Rodi and WGSN.com, which students, educators and designers working in the sector use to understand the changing consumption standards in the fashion and textile world, are the most important trend prediction resources available in the IMA Library.
Nelly Rodi : Nelly Rodi touching upon colors, fabrics, patterns, women’s apparel, women’s collections, men’s collections, underwear and home decoration is a semiannually printed publication by a French trend agency and aims at providing fashion enthusiasts with forecasts for subsequent seasons. Previous issues are available at our library.
WGSN : It is an electronic resource available over the internet that uses technology to identify and spread trends affecting design. You can visit www.wgsn.com for information about the source accessed from terminals within IMA.
Only İMA students can access the library with appointment by forwarding their usage request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
