Foundation: What is Design Techniques Education?
IMA Foundation: Design Techniques Program is a preliminary preparation program necessary for you to complete your undergraduate education in the areas of design.
It is planned as a preliminary preparation program for Istanbul Fashion Academy Fashion Design and Technology Undergraduate Program. Students who accomplish this education program with the suitable criteria have the right to pass on to Fashion Design and Technology Undergraduate Program.
May help you understand better the qualifications and skills required for succeeding in fashion industry. Provides support to enable you to discover your abilities correctly and get to know field trainings in advance for your future education you will receive in the field of design. Aims to enable you to have experience on fashion design principles, idea development processes, design applications.

PROGRAM İÇERİĞİ
MODULE 1/ DESIGN AND RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Ways of thinking are developed on basic design principles and processes of design principles are handled. The depths of the inspiring subject are plumbed via different ways of research and its importance in design processes is explained. The objective of this module is to demonstrate the place and importance of research in fashion industry to participants and ensure its application in the most effective manner.
MODULE 2 / BASIC ART AND DRAWING SKILLS
It is aimed to comprehend and apply basic principles and universal values in the field of Art and Design. Basic art education is a reliable type of education where creativity is prioritized, critical thinking is improved, every student is guided in parallel to his/her personal development and tendencies.
MODULE 3 / MAKING MINI COLLECTION
