Completed his undergraduate degree in the field of Business Administration at Bilkent University and his MA degree at Fachhochschule Osnabrück in International Business and Management. He continued with his PhD studies in Brand Management and Communication at Steinbeis-University Berlin. He has been consulting global fashion and lifestyle brands such as GAP, Esprit, Zalando, Gerry Weber, GQ, Dazed and Confused, Beiersdorf, L'Oréal, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Turkcell and Nokia concerning brand strategy, product/collection development, communication and retail management for over 10 years. He has been teaching in the Department of Fashion Design and Management at Mediadesign Hochschule Munich and contributing to local and global magazines about design and art. Besides leading the Fashion Management Department at Istanbul Moda Academy, Bilgen Coşkun teaches fashion marketing communications, fashion management, trend and market research and contemporary fashion brand management.
